Vent Issues with Star Wars

    If your push to talk key isn't working while playing Star Wars, it can be fixed by running vent as an administrator (right click, "run as administrator").

    I think that this wouldn't be a problem is SWTOR didn't run as administrator - which I hate. If I really cared about computer security I'd immediately uninstall in protest. Instead, I just run more and more stuff as admin so that I can be sure that it works with TOR :P

    What else have you needed to run as admin? Outside of Vent I can't think of anything else I run "with" TOR.
    But I need tacos! I need them or I will explode. That happens to me sometimes.

    But you never know when other apps will need to work with TOR.. Like notepad and calc and haxxormypc.scr.

    In truth, nothing. I'm just bothered that the application had to run as admin - I find that to be poor design. What is it doing that it needs admin rights on the box?

    My windows install on the Mac consists of: windows, ventrilo and TOR. I'm not terribly worried about it, but as I said, it's silly.
