Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and I don't really have an "official" answer for you per se. I can give you my best guess though, which would be that most of our players aren't chemists. Sure I may know what it is because my degree is in chemistry and you obviously know what it is in that your bringing it to our attention. However, I think with most players actual chemical names probably go over their head and they don't give it a second though. Some might pick up on it or look it up, but compared to the common name I'd suspect that not all that many players even give it a second thought and make the connection.

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend going around calling LSD by it's chemical name in game as even though it's not filtered by the mature filter, it still could be reported as a violation of our policies and you don't want to risk account actions. Hopefully, that answers your question though and please let us know if anything else comes up.
